The lyrics blend romantic pining, hope and despair, with devotional motifs inspired by Sufic poetry and gnostic philosophy. It builds upon organic beats with influences from the Orient, swimming in a chorus of Erhu and reverb. Some say it is too much. I've always thought it wasn't enough!

This release is, as always, imperfect and incomplete - A Work in Progress created in the crucible of unrequited love for yet another soul that Dr. Trance has fallen foolishly in love with over a period of many years. This 2nd album is a testament to taking leaps of faith and being fearless in our hopes and dreams, while learning to forgive and love ourselves when we discover that we aren't compatible with the ones our hearts have chosen. I hope the 3rd album will be about dreams that came true and not another resulting from the ones that fell apart but let us at least celebrate falling apart gracefully, preserving friendship despite the breakdown of failed romance and finding hope amidst hopelessness after the storms clear. These tears are but water for the flowers in the secret temple of my heart. Hope springs eternal! Our soulmates will find us when the time is right.
